Overview

Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa whose diverse landscape encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria. Its abundant wildlife includes chimpanzees as well as rare birds. Remote Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a renowned mountain gorilla sanctuary. Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m-tall waterfall and wildlife such as hippos.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival to Uganda and transfer to the Boma Hotel (BB)

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale forest national park, overnight stay at Kibale forest camp

Day 3

Kibale forest camp incl. Chimpanzee tracking experience and Bigodi swamp walk

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and overnight at Bush Lodge

Day 5

Game drives and transfers to the Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions, overnight at Enjojo lodge

Day 6

Morning game drives and transfer to Bwindi, overnight at Haven Lodge Buhoma

Day 7

Haven Lodge Buhoma incl. Gorilla tracking experience

Day 8

Flight to Entebbe, visit Mabamba wetlands for shoe-bill stork and transfer for outbound flight
